Founder & Managing Director

Mr. Miller currently serves as EVP, Business Strategy, INgage Networks  (formerly, Neighborhood America), and is Managing Director of BizTank LLC.

Mr. Miller has helped scores of entrepreneurs’ to start-up, organize, systemize, grow and exit their businesses.  He has become well known as a speaker and an expert on using technology and people to make companies more efficient and competitive.  With his diverse background as an entrepreneur, investor and advisor, Mr. Miller is able to leverage his unique insights to help other entrepreneurs reach their goals.

Movo Mobile, LLC was acquired by INgage Networks in October 2006. INgage is the leading provider of Enterprise Social Networking and mobile marketing solutions to government, media and enterprise customers.

Prior to starting BizTank, Mr. Miller was founder and President of PlanetResume.com. PlanetResume.com was an early pioneer and leading provider of Internet recruitment advertising services focusing on the IT marketplace. Mr. Miller built the company because he realized that he could help to dramatically lower corporations’ costs associated with hiring technical candidates while giving candidates access to resources that were previously beyond their reach. PlanetResume.com grew from a start-up in 1994 to a thriving, profitable company with regional offices in Boston, Washington DC, Charlotte, and San Francisco, and with clients including, State Street Bank, PriceWaterHouseCoopers, Cerent Corp. and Charles Schwab.

Mr. Miller successfully completed the sale of PlanetResume.com to CareerShop.com in October, 1999, and the sale of CareerShop.com to Personnel Group of America in June 2000. Following the sale of CareerShop to PGA, Mr. Miller decided to pursue building BizTank.

Prior to founding PlanetResume.com, Mr. Miller was a Principal and Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Software House, Inc., a leading provider of facility access control security systems sold worldwide to Fortune 500 and governmental customers. In the summer of 1994, Software House was acquired Sensormatic Corp. (NYSE:SRM).  Following the sale, Mr. Miller's entrepreneurial drive spurred him towards the founding of PlanetResume.com.

Mr. Miller’s entrepreneurial drive and competitive spirit began with his passion for soccer. In 1981 he represented the US in the Maccabiah Games in Venezuela & Israel.  He also trained for a full season with West Ham United of the English Professional League.   Mr. Miller has integrated much of what he learned from his athletic experience into his business practices and passion for creating high performance work teams.

Mr. Miller graduated with a BA from Brandeis University in the Boston area.  He completed the “Birthing of Giants” entrepreneurial education program sponsored at MIT.  Mr. Miller was an active member of The Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO) and is the former President of the Boston YEO chapter. In Sarasota, Mr. Miller facilitates a monthly CEO Peer Group of early-stage entrepreneurs.   

As an Angel Investor, Mr. Miller has previously invested in PortableResume, Pongo Software, AvidXchange, Inc., Flickful.com and Tony Jeary/HPR, Inc.

Mr. Miller is the Chairman of Pongo Software, an ecommerce provider of resume and career management software solutions. He also serves on the Boards of INgage Networks, Real Digital Media, The Sun Coast Tech Forum, The Gulf Coast Venture Forum, and Sarasota County Openly Plans for Excellence (SCOPE).

Mr. Miller lives in Sarasota Florida area with his wife, Nelle, and their son Henry.  He is a 2nd Degree Black Belt and Instructor of Tae-Kwon-Do Karate and plays competitive club tennis and loves biking along the Gulf Coast.
