Rodney Capron - Senior Technologist

 With over twelve years of extensive sales, management and technical expertise, and partner and/or founder of three web development firms to his credit, Rodney Capron, Jr. most recently founded and currently serves as President of Synthenet Corporation. As Founder/President of Synthenet, Rodney is responsible for establishing, providing directionfor and the fulfillment of the company's strategic vision.

In 1998 when Rodney founded Synthenet Corporation, he did so with the "client first" mentality. It has been his personal goal to understand each of his client's businesses, whether they are small, not-for-profits or large corporations, and find the best web-based solution suitable for their business needs.

As President of Synthenet, Rodney is also responsible for establishing strategic partnerships with other high-tech firms in order to best serve Synthenet clients; handling sales and marketing initiatives; and development and project management teams. In addition, Rodney provides extensive client interaction and manages client project discovery sessions.

Prior to founding Synthenet, Rodney was the Director of Sales and Design, and part owner of Argent Media Group, Ltd. also a web development firm. At Argent, Rodney was responsible for all sales and marketing initiatives for the firm, as well as hands-on web site layout/design, implementation and/or coordination of same with artists and programmers. In addition, Rodney also handled a range of other projects from company advertisement composition, negotiation and placement to customer training sessions with regard to the Internet and self-maintenance of websites

Rodney came to Argent from Spirit Technologies in Marlborough, MA where he was their Business Development Manager. At Spirit Rodney was in charge of establishing new resellers for Macintosh peripheral products, account management of West Coast sales territory and the development/promotion of a new product line into the digital video market. He also worked at Sonitech International, where he was ultimately responsible for the tracking and management of sales accounts and account representatives. While at Sonitech International Rodney was responsible for closing 60% of all company sales, and increased sales a whopping 45% during his tenure.

Currently, Rodney lives and works with his wife Lynn. They have four feathered children, a cockatiel, 2 small parrots and a Goffin cockatoo, living with them in Northborough Massachusetts. Rodney is an avid  motorcyclist who enjoys cruising round town on his BMW R1100 RT Touring Bike with his wife and riding solo on his Yamaha R1 Sport bike.
